Bad bug be gettin' me down

Ugh. So. I have an intestinal infection (do not recommend). Started yesterday morning out of no where. First off, I felt so tired, I could barely even get out of bed to go to the bathroom.

Then, the nausea and chills came forth and multiplied. Bad things were happening on both ends of my alimentary canal. Oh, it was a scene, man.

I will spare you the gory details, but needless to say, by about 11am there was not ANYTHING left inside my poor body. I was so dehydrated and sad and tired.

Luckily we did have Smart Water here in the house (has added electrolytes) and we had broth and saltines. So, that was my exciting day. Tried to sleep it off and sip lukewarm broth to get myself hydrated again.

It took all day long and many liters of Smart Water before I began to feel somewhat human. My doctor prescribed a horse pill antibiotic that is making me feel even weirder than the infection! My tummy feels all hollow, I can't focus my eyes all the way, and I'm loopy as all get out (and no, I've not been drinking AT ALL!)...I guess this antibiotic has some pretty hefty side effects, so I will not be leaving the house at all today. Yeesh.

So, yeah. Welcome to Alaska!
