The "Keep Me Honest" ongoing post

I decided it'd be a good idea to keep myself honest and keep a daily log of my exercise and food intake. This will not be interesting unless you are me or possibly my mother (Hi, Mom!). I will continue adding to this as the days wear on, but will also continue to write new and exciting posts as I'm sure you're used to seeing here at this point!! hee hee!

So, here is my boring exercise and food log:

Mon, Jan. 3 -
B- V-8 juice, vitamins, egg with turkey/low-fat cheese/mustard, coffee
L - Cabbage soup
D - Small salad, Chicken rollatini with ricotta mixture, marinara, sauteed mushrooms, sauteed spinach
Exercise - 10 minute walk to Chiropractor, 30 minute walk after
Snacks - fat-free pudding, piece of cheese, cottage cheese, peanuts

Tue, Jan 4 -
B - V-8 juice, vitamins, scrambled egg, coffee
L - Leftover chicken rollatini (1/2 piece)
D - Shrimp taco salad with black beans, low-fat sour cream, low-fat cheese, green tabasco
Exercise - 20 minute very brisk walk
Snacks - fat-free pudding, cheese stick, peanuts

Wed, Jan 5 -
B - V-8 juice, vitamins, scrambled egg with mushroom and onion, coffee
L - Leftover shrimps, black beans, etc, rolled in lettuce leaves
D - Roasted chicken, roasted veggies, mashed cauliflower
Exercise - 20 minute walk to tanning place, 20 minute walk home
Snacks - fudgicle, celery with laughing cow cheese, peanuts, almonds

Thur- Jan 6 -
B - V-8 juice, vitamins, scrambled egg, coffee
L - salad with garbanzos, cheese, cuke, tomato, balsamic, olive oil and bit of ranch dressing
D - Sauteed salmon in grapeseed oil, dill, lemon and lime with yogurt/dill/garlic/lemon/lime sauce, sauteed spinach
Excercise - day off
Snacks - fat-free pudding, 2 cheese sticks, peanuts

Fri - Jan 7 -
B-V-8 juice, vitamins, scrambled egg, coffee
L - big salad with low-fat turkey, tiny bit of blue cheese, balsamic & olive oil
D - Taco salad (no shell) with marinated chicken, black beans, cheese, sour cream and salsas. YUMMM!
Exercise - 40 minute power walk
Snacks - fat-free pudding, a cheese stick, peanuts, cottage cheese (I was hungry!)

Sat - Jan 8 -
B - V-8 juice, vitamins, scrambled egg, coffee
L - Fake mini-pizzas using artichoke bottoms, sauce, reduced-fat mozzarella cheese and turkey pepperoni. Yummm:

D - Greek salad with grilled chicken.
Exercise - day off.
Snacks - almonds, celery with light BabyBel cheese, peanuts

Sun - Jan 9 -
B - V-8 juice, vitamins, scrambled egg with mushroom, onion & spinach, coffee
L - Cabbage soup, rolled up turkey with mustard
D - Chicken divan with broccoli, cauliflower and home-made cheese sauce, salad
Exercise - nada
Snacks - almonds, peanuts

Mon - Jan 10 -
B- V-8 juice, vitamins, scrambled egg, coffee
L - Salad, dry chicken and flavorless steamed vegetables (It was for a luncheon I had to attend!).
D - LOBSTER! (It was SOOO good!), leftover broccoli and cauliflower, asparagus.
Snacks - sugar-free chocolate pudding, turkey with cheese and mustard, peanuts.
No exercise again - busy day.

Tues - Jan 11 -
B- V-8 juice, vitamins, scrambled egg, coffee
L - Greek salad (delish).
D - Eggplant rollatini - sauteed eggplant with a filling of ricotta, parmesean and mozzarella. I served it with a mushroom, onion and sausage (chicken) sauce. Deeeelish!
Exercise - 1/2 hour power walk - very brisk, as it was downright COLD outside!
Snacks - sugar-free chocolate pudding, peanuts.

Wed - Jan 12 -
B- V-8 juice, vitamins, scrambled egg with mushroom, onion, spinach and reduced-fat cheddar, coffee
L - cabbage soup
D -
No exercise.
Snacks - peanuts

Thur - Jan 13 -
B - V-8 juice, vitamins, scrambled egg, coffee
L -
D -
Exercise - anusara yoga class from 5:30-7
Snacks -

That's it so far, I'm going to make a link to this post over there on the right if you're interested in checking on my habits. I'm doing a smashup job of it so far. Weighed myself on the 5th and I've already lost quite a bit of weight compared to the last time I weighed myself on Dec. 10th. Yaay! Next weigh-in is on Jan. 13th and I'll report the number of pounds lost so far...
