You have all been so wonderful and kind and have made this loss of our beloved boy just a mite easier. Knowing that there are such wonderful, generous souls in the world is really helpful and we appreciate everything from the cards to the flowers to the messages by phone, email and on the internet.
Each day the pain eases just a tiny tiny bit more, and we try to concentrate on the knowledge that Koty is in a place of no pain, with his beloved sister - Lady, with my husband's loving grandparents, and his first big sister - Annie, who was was my mother-in-law's dog.
Here are some of the happier times:
We had a wonderful life together and Koty lived it to the fullest.
He was a stubborn, "punk-ass-punk" just like his Dad! Feisty and full of life!! He had a fabulous sense of humor and was so silly and full of joie de vivre! You could not possibly meet Koty without falling deeply in love. He was utterly magnetic and so very smart and wildly independent.
Keep loving on your animals for us, it's the best medicine for our grief.

ReplyDeleteYes,hugging and loving on the animals for sure. You guys are in my thoughts. We lost our big baby of 12 years July 31 this year. It hurt like heck. Hugs to you all through the tears. B.
